From 3pm, we’re filling the new Gibbons Hotel with live music, big energy, cold pints and that signature buzz you’ve been missing.
3PM – The Uptakes
There’s something funky in the Wellington water… and we’re pretty sure Louis TM is behind it. The reverend of R&B and soul-soaked showman brings his New Orleans-inspired crew to fire up the afternoon with good vibes, big grooves, and all-round feel-good energy.
5PM – Stirling Hern Duo
Two powerhouse lead vocalists. Guitar, bass, and classic hits reimagined. Expect smooth, sexy ballads and sing-along favourites with a twist.
6PM – Oscar Lavën’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Sax
Oscar Lavën turns the dial all the way up with a high-energy rock ’n’ roll sax show inspired by the greats – Sam Butera, King Curtis, Earl Bostic. Backed by an all-star band (Deane Hunter, Patrick Bleakley, Darren Mathiason, Damian Forlong), it’s pure, roaring, foot-stomping fun to close out the night.
